Spotlight develops its products and program activities through the establishment of three units; the Design Studio, the Multimedia Lab and the Virtual Support Centre. The integration of these units within the organization, enables a transparent and efficient work flow from where the entire process starting from concept development to product marketing its carried out and coordinated. All under the same roof which is cost reducing and time saving. Creating quality product and services is multifaceted and demands the expertise of a well educated work force. In order to achieve optimal results the majority of the work is done by our team of graphic designers, ICT-developers, visual artist and photographers who are dedicated to their tasks and committed to take on challenges.
The Design Studio forms the backbone of Spotlight. This is where all design and photography related projects take place. Whether it is a design for book cover, wedding documentary or the layout of a magazine, the Design Studio provides solutions for businesses and individuals by delivering compelling visual concepts. A ‘good design’ communicates not only through sight but also through the mind. Looking for the ‘perfect match’ between word and image, content and style is both challenging and part of our daily concerns.
The Multimedia Lab develops digital content customized for the Internet such as websites, blog pages, databases, animations, Power Point presentations and short video productions. This unit also manages a digital collection of stock photography by Indonesian photographers and visual artists consisting of thousand of high resolution images of contemporary Indonesian culture and arts.
The Virtual Support Centre functions as an online database / help desk established for the purpose of assisting organisations and individuals local and abroad who are seeking for job opportunities, specialists, institutions operating in the local creative industries. Working with the right people is time and cost saving and on the long term increases the quality of products and services.
STRUKTUR ORGANISASI
Spotlight mengembangkan produk dan kegiatan program melalui pembentukan tiga satuan: Studio Desain, Lab Multimedia dan Dukungan Pusat Virtual. Integrasi ini memungkinkan sebuah alur kerja yang transparan dan efisien dari mana seluruh proses produksi, mulai dari pengembangan konsep sampai pemasaran produk, dilakukan dan diatur. Semua di bawah satu atap yaitu mengurangi biaya dan menghemat waktu. Menciptakan produk dan jasa bermutu adalah sebuah proses yang sangat beragam dan menuntut keahlian dari tenaga kerja yang terdidik. Untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal sebagian besar karya atas permintaan dilakukan oleh tim kami terdiri dari ahli-ahli di bidang grafis desain, pengembang ICT, seni rupa dan fotografi yang berdedikasi dan selalu berkomitmen menghadapi tantangan.
Studio Desain merupakan tulang punggung dari Spotlight tempatnya di mana seluruh proyek berhubungan dengan desain grafis dan fotografi dilaksanakan. Apakah itu adalah desain sampul buku, dokumenter pernikahan atau tata letak majalah, Studio Desain ini memberikan solusi bagi bisnis dan perorangan melalui penyampaian konsep visual yang menarik. 'Desain yang baik' bicara tidak hanya melalui penglihatan namu juga melalui pikiran. Mencari 'kecocokan' dalam menggabungkan kata dan gambar, isi dan gaya adalah baik menantang maupun bagian dari keprihatinan kami sehari-hari.
Lab Multimedia mengembangkan media digital yang disesuaikan untuk jaringan Internet di antara situs web, halaman blog, database, animasi, Power Point presentasi dan produksi video pendek. Satuan ini juga mengelola koleksi gambar digital oleh fotografer Indonesia dan perupa seni Indonesia, terhitung lebih dari ribuan gambar dalam resolusi tinggi mengenai budaya dan seni kontemporer.
